Cory Oppold is the executive chef at Atlas Bistro and founder of Simmer Down Meals.  Simmer Down was designed to give gourmet meals to the public when restaurants are closed during the pandemic. He comes on the podcast to discuss, learning at a young age how to cook on his farm in Illinois,  his time on the show Chopped, how he went from wanting to be an architect to becoming a chef, and how he is navigating thru Covid-19.
