Final Destination (2000) - "This is [Death's] design"

October 30, 2023 23:20 - 1 hour - 61 MB

Welcome to our new season - Y2K Horror! With a new host line up; Brie, Tom and our newest member Katelyn; start the season off with our first entry - Final Destination. Katelyn is convinced she could survive this series (debatable), while the crew also debate the presence of Ashley Tisdale (no not really) in this film and cry "Justice for Billy".

NIghtmare on Elm Street (1984) - "Cooking with Mr Krueger" and attempts at doxxing

August 08, 2023 02:35 - 1 hour - 57.9 MB

What's this? A new epsiode on a podcast you thought was abandoned? That's right folks, we are back! ... Sort of. Meet your new co-host Tom(!) as we discover how much the 1984 film 'Nightmare on Elm Street' holds up, try to get back into the swing of this show, and Aiden accidently almost doxes us multiple times.

Halloween (1978) - "his PHD was written in crayon"

August 08, 2022 22:30 - 53 minutes - 44.7 MB

We're back! After a summer break and hectic schedule conflicts, we finally managed to find a time where we were together and could sit down to watch the film that's often credited for kick starting the big slasher boom of the 80's; John Carpenter's 1978 film 'Halloween'. After catching up and downing a prescription punch we watch and try to discuss the infamous Michael Myers... and accidently focus much more on his quack of a doctor instead.  This film made us question if a seemingly unstop...

Friday the 13th (1980) - "Pamela Anderson's Comfy Jumper"

October 22, 2021 05:47 - 1 hour - 64.5 MB

This Wednesday night we cozied up with our take on an alcoholic hot chocolate cocktail and watched one of Aiden's comfort movies; the original Friday the 13th movie.  We discover that Pamela Voorhees is pretty high on our list of horror movie mums (she looks like she'd give good hugs), and that the practical effects in this 80's film really hold up... Possibly the best beheading scene ever? Kevin Bacon's ass is disappointing, don't watch this movie for him. Watch it for Pamela, our new Mum.

IT Chapter 2 (2019) - "Homophobic clown outs a gay man with showtunes"

October 21, 2021 03:22 - 40 minutes - 37.2 MB

In today's episode, we collapse on the couch with our cocktails to watch the follow-up to the '2017 film referred to as It' - It Chapter 2 (2019). We discover that the film is a very mixed bag of fun and annoying parts, Richie is of course the biggest mood, our cocktails have a good "mouth feel" and Brie forgot she can't mix her meds with her drink and almost fell asleep while recording the second half of the episode!  *note* Originally this episode was to be uploaded in early August howeve...

It (2017) - "we aren't calling this Clussy Posting"

August 27, 2021 04:16 - 41 minutes - 38.1 MB

In today's episode, we watch one of Brie's comfort films, It (2017). While enjoying a caramel popcorn martini, the three of us watch and discuss the movie, trying and failing to stay on topic. *note* throughout this episode references are made to the actor known as Willem Dafoe, due to a piece of trivia about the film 'Antichrist' Brie informed Aiden and Ben prior to recording. Please do not look into this piece of trivia if you are under the age of 18 (in which case please ignore this podc...

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) - Leatherface goes 'DONK'

August 26, 2021 02:42 - 58 minutes - 54.2 MB

After a long day, we take a shot and sit down with our cocktails, ready to meet the iconic slasher Leatherface for the first time. Surprisingly we discover he looks good in a suit... Oh and the movie holds up. Like, really holds up.
