Shelley Luther, the owner of Salon A La Mode, opened her business early despite not being deemed essential during the COVID-19 pandemic. Since the salon reopened on April 24, people have gathered outside the business in support of Luther. Rob Case, the owner of a neighboring music shop called Fiddle & Bow Music Co, says her supporters' presence has kept him from opening.
