Today I talk about two very important, and very different things.
1. Doctrine, what we believe the Bible teaches and God desires.
2. How do we minister to lost people in our community?
Denominations are splitting over serious cultural and moral issues, and often lost and hurting people, even those seeking God, are getting caught in the crossfire of Christians who are drawing sharp lines of doctrinal distinction between them, and then separating.
Doctrine is very important, and truth is not relative but objectively comes from God's Word, but how do we apply the truth of God to the lives of real people who are far from Jesus. The life and ministry of Jesus shows us a different way. (we'll talk about Jesus' way tomorrow)
