Pierce Brothers twins, Jack and Pat, have been shaking dance floors and selling out rooms across the UK, Europe, Canada, USA and Australia since 2014. If you mention busking in Melbourne the first band name that will come to mind will be… The Pierce Brothers! These two grew a name for themselves with their irresistible energy and world class live shows. Bursting onto the scene in 2014, they began a steady journey building audiences and selling out shows all over the world, supporting artists the likes of The Cat Empire, St. Paul and the Broken Bones, to name a few. They spent 2019 touring with Tash Sultana and amongst the madness of 2020 they have been writing new music. Two of these new tracks have been released, Kanko earlier this year, and Dentist which had just dropped September 25.

We spoke to one half of the duo Pat (Jack couldn’t make the interview as he had just had his first baby!) about how they made music their career, the lessons they have learnt, and how they are making the most of 2020 with new music.
