In this episode The Coach offers up a big slab of Humble Pie! This episode could be called "The Art of Navigating Greatness!” in a humble manner. As an athlete, how do you respond to your greatest accomplishment. A look of appreciation for the opportunity or a raspberry to your competitors. As a coach, do you stand on the top of the mountain and tell the world that your player won? You want to celebrate but you also don’t want to come across as a self promoting jerk! Sooooo how do we navigate this in the modern social media driven World? Look...Brooke Henderson just won her 1st LPGA major at 18 years old! This is massive! Is it wrong for me to celebrate that? Did I drop the 90ft putt? NO! Did I hit the shots or close out the playoff with the World watching? NO! Have I worked with Brooke over the last 2 years? NO! Am I proud of the 4 years that I was fortunate to have the opportunity work with such an amazing athlete and work with all the coaches and IST for the Canadian National Team? YESSSSS!!!!!!
