Coach Forward Podcast is an interview-style podcast hosted by Jason Mejeur (Coach J), accomplished Coach, Mentor, and Founder/CEO at MaxOne.

Today, I'm excited to be joined by a true servant-leader, Coach Justin Duarte. Coach Duarte was selected in the 1999 MLB draft by the Philadelphia Phillies. Duarte played four seasons in the minors soaking up a wealth of knowledge from coaches and teammates to create a successful winning philosophy. In 2010, Duarte launched Next Level Catching Academy, which is fully dedicated to developing catchers. Over the last decade he has helped hundreds of catchers move on to the college ranks and professional baseball.

As coaches, it’s easy to get focused on how to get from point A to point B in a practice plan or in planning out a season.  The best youth sports coaches find ways to bring the people into the process, to create a space for the relational part of coaching.  In this episode, Coach Duarte shares some of his trade secrets.
