Coach Forward is an interview-style podcast hosted by Jason Mejeur (Coach J), accomplished Coach, Mentor, and Founder/CEO at MaxOne. To see the MaxOne platform, schedule some time here.

Today, I'm excited to be joined by Coach Deven Morgan. Deven is the Director of Youth Baseball and the Founder of the Driveline Academy.

Driveline Baseball is the premier data-driven baseball player development organization in the world. They train players through state-of-the-art motion capture assessments, physical therapy evaluations, and specialized assessment-retest based pitching, hitting and high performance coaching.

Deven is responsible for creating the Driveline Academy team program, which consisted of 108 players across 8 teams in their first year. The program retained 90% of our players in year one, and now has 220 players across 18 teams in year two.

Deven also created the Youth Baseball Development certification course in January of 2020 to broaden his, and his student’s approach to developing "Skills That Scale" in youth baseball, and to date has more than 1,800 members.

About Jason Mejeur (Coach J)

Jason has more than 15 years of experience coaching basketball at the college and high school level and has lived on the sidelines and in the locker rooms working to build teams and inspire athletes. His mission is to build authentic relationships with his players so that he could have an impact on their lives beyond the basketball court.

More recently, Jason founded MaxOne to be a platform that makes coaches' lives easier and helps them use technology to have a bigger impact on the lives of their athletes.
