This Podcast features Dr Erlina Burhan, noted TB expert from Indonesia and member, Board of Directors, International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (The Union). She was in conversation with CNS head Shobha Shukla. Dr Burhan speaks about strong linkages between tobacco use, TB, diabetes, cancer (such as lung cancer), among others.

She calls for high level political commitment to jump start stronger action against these preventable epidemics. She strongly emphasizes on prevention of TB (latent TB) which is a critical cog in the wheel to #endTB.

Shobha Shukla also coordinates APCAT Media (Asia Pacific regional media network for preventing NCDs and ending tobacco and TB).
