Episode 22: Fruits, Faux Fur, and Fit Models: Sizing with Meredith (part II)

This is part two of our conversation with Meredith, a technical designer and all around expert on fit and sizing.  There's still so much to discuss:  fit models (it's a real job and it's hard work), how a garment is fitted, and WTF is a tech pack?  Also, how retailers and designers use customer reviews to make decisions.   And of course, we are going to talk about how the industry as a whole is totally missing the mark on extended sizing.   Did you know that only 8% of brands offer extended sizing?  Meanwhile 67% of US women buy plus size clothing!

Also:  Amanda ruins faux fur for everyone.  Guess what?  Faux fur is plastic.  And it sheds microplastics kinda constantly.  WOMP WOMP.
