On July 1, SB140 will become law. The legislation, that’s backed by Sen. Carden Summers and several other lawmakers, blocks trans youth from receiving hormone replacement therapy, as well as prohibits medical professionals from performing certain surgical procedures at hospitals and other licensed healthcare facilities. We revisit Rose’s conversation with the Frame family. The family of four share the experience of raising an agender/non-binary child and the impact such legislation could have on families like theirs.
