According to Zillow, at the end of 2021, rental prices skyrocketed nearly 20% in the Atlanta area. Lastly, tributes are pouring in for the legendary actor Louis Gossett Jr. He died on Friday at the age of 87. Gossett was the first Black man to win a supporting actor Oscar and an Emmy winner for his role in the seminal TV miniseries “Roots,” We revisit Rose’s conversation with Gossett. During the conversation, he reflected on why he gave up a professional career in basketball to pursue acting full-time.
