Welcome Back to Part 2 of Ken's Interview with Ashley Jones.

About Ashley:

Ashley's life purpose is to help people heal. She uses her advanced analytical abilities to link the known with the unknown to trigger major paradigm shifts.

Clemson University did an incredible job preparing her for her career, but it could've never prepared her for what life had in store next.

After working as a designer for printing and web development companies, Ashley decided to start her own business. Ashley's husband and herself were surprised by the pregnancy but were excited to be young parents. A month after their daughter was born, they found out she had a terminal genetic condition (SMA type 1) and would likely not see her first birthday.

Ashley became Skylar's full-time mom and caregiver, and she loved every second of it. She was the greatest joy, and Ashley was so grateful for the time they had together. When she died at 21 months old, Ashley knew she would need something to get her out of bed, so she started her own companies - one for portrait and wedding photography and one for corporate photography and branding/design.

Anytime Ashley heard of someone facing a terminal diagnosis, she volunteered to do a free portrait session. Most people took her up on it; amazing stories of impact came out of each session and the prints/books she would give people. Ashley's husband lovingly reminded her they had bills to pay, and she couldn't keep giving everything away, and Ashley agreed. But she also knew this was important, meaningful work that needed to continue without charging families who were suffering. Ashley believed she could find other people to join her in giving it all away and formed a non-profit with a vision to scale to a national level and serve people everywhere.

Love Not Lost was born (www.lovenotlost.org).

Since then, it's been an incredible journey of growth, impact, and love as their mission has evolved to revolutionize the way we heal in grief. Ashley is continually blown away by people's generosity and excited to support people around the world through their tools and resources.

Ashley especially enjoys speaking to groups of people through online summits, keynote presentations, corporate workshops, and local events like Creative Mornings and TEDxChattanooga.
