Dave heads up the non-profit organization Unlock Democracy where he fights for democratic renewal and proportional government. His bestselling book Teardown: Rebuilding Democracy from the Ground Up spells out some of the problems with Canada's electoral system, and offers practical solutions to fix it, like electoral reform.



After the worst turnout in Canadian electoral history — less than half of Ontario's eligible voters cast their ballot on June 2nd — we asked Dave to help us make sense of it all.
