Have you ever wanted to have a conversation with a successful home brewer who also happens to be an engineer with a degree in rocket science? We did. Self-titled “Indy’s Beergineer” with a Facebook page named Rocket Man Brewing, Nick’s a Service Engineer at Rolls Royce, the Vice President of the Indy homebrew club Circle City Zymurgy, and the winner of the 2018 Whitestown Brewfest.
In the first half of this episode, you’ll hear Nick speak about his background in engineering as well as homebrewing and how the two relate, how he came to realize that he’s happy that he didn’t get his dream job at SpaceX, and if we’ll see a Rocket Man Brewery in the future.
In the second half of this episode, you’ll hear Nick speak about the homebrew fest that he’s organizing called Indiana Homebrew Palooza where proceeds will be donated to Boone County Habitat for Humanity, how he defines success, and some things that you can do to get started and become successful in engineering as well as brewing.
