Sure, horror movies are fun, but what does SCIENCE say about it? Can it be scientifically proven with serious research which movies are the most terrifying? Is it a good measuring factor to just add up which movies pump up your heart rate the most? Or which ones elevate your various psychological responses with a solid sense of dread or which ones take the cheap way out and just hit you over the head with Jump Scare? There’s some good ones on there, for sure, but what do the experts at Cinemondo think? How does the research line up with our opinions?
