We give you the lowdown on a great documentary film, CLASS ACTION PARK, directed by Seth Porges that focuses on the scariest and most dangerous theme park that ever was. Action Park was definitely a fond and nostalgic memory for lots of teenagers, despite the high risk for personal injury and in some cases, death. It was the kind of place that parents would not have allowed their kids to go if they’d known more about it - or even if they’d know how crooked the owner was. The kind of place that simply would not exist in the present day. A crazy, free-for-all wild-west, no rules theme park with water slides and flume rides and all manner of mayhem that seemed to have been designed by an 8th grader on notebook paper. The film is funny, it makes you cringe, and it also brings the very real tragedies into focus. Highly recommended by the Cinemondo team for the fantastic 80s and 90s nostalgia.
