Episode 41: The Evil Dead (1981)

Look! I’m getting out! I don’t care what happens to her...I’m getting the hell out of here. Regular Game Night contributor Brian Kofford is back with us again to talk about the movie The Evil Dead. In this episode, Willie discusses his problems with the lack of a telephone to call the police or even the lack of an alternate road to get to the latest town to call for help, but Brian explains how this movie is actually more believable than horror films today. Plus, did you know that this movie was supposed to be filmed in Michigan and the crew almost got hypothermia in the Tennessee cabin they did end up choosing for the film location and is it better to watch Evil Dead II before The Evil Dead?
