Now playing in theaters and on HBO Max for a limited time, The Many Saints of Newark is a crime drama prequel to The Sopranos television series. Directed by Alan Taylor and written by Sopranos show runner David Chase and Lawrence Konner, this precursor to the show explores the life of a teenage Tony Soprano, played by the late James Gandolfini's son, and how he was shaped in a big way by his "uncle" Dickie Moltisanti (Alessandro Nivola). The film also stars Leslie Odom Jr., Vera Farmiga, Jon Bernthal, Ray Liotta, Corey Stoll, Billy Magnussen, Michela De Rossi, and John Magaro.
