Our indie palate cleanser of the week is Sophie Jones, the directorial debut of Jessie Barr, who co-wrote the screenplay with her cousin Jessica Barr, who also stars in the film as a teen grappling with grief and her own girlhood in the wake of tragedy. Released through Oscilloscope Laboratories, Sophie Jones is available to to stream now via on demand.
