Welcome to another episode of Cinedicate! This episode I am joined by Simone Salis from 2343 to talk about the hidden gem from 1998, The Truman Show.
From director Peter Weir, also known for Dead Poet's Society and Master & Commander, introduces us to a man who unknowingly is a star of a hit reality show, Truman Burbank.
In this film, Truman (Jim Carrey) and his entire life is a TV set. From the visionary Christof (Ed Harris), through hidden-cameras records and broadcasts Truman's life for the world to see. However, recent events made Truman realize that his reality is not what he believes it to be.
For some this is a classic, and for many this will be their first time with The Truman Show. Check out our discussion on this great movie from 1998 and why you should add it to your watch list!
