This week, I am joined by someone not directly connected to the film industry, but he is someone with a very keen eye for "when things go wrong" in movies. David Hopper runs a Brand Strategy company, called H2 Partners; He runs focus groups with various brands, such as "Meerkats" (Compare the Meerkat.), O2, and various others. He ensures that brands are marketing their products in a way that will be most impactful towards consumers; so he has a very keen eye when it comes to spotting the visual aspects of a film.
In this episode, we chat about specific films that are full of inconsistencies and blatant historically based inaccuracies, and we discuss whether we can forgive these errors, or whether the filmmakers should be condemned for their lack of detail!
