Jesus has called his kingdom citizens to be the salt of the world. This means we are here to be a light in the darkness, not a source of chaos. However, many Christians are salty instead of being salt. Being salty is taking revenge when someone attacks you in word or deed, which adds to the chaos of the world. For example, someone may say something bad about you or your viewpoints on social media, and out of hurt, you retaliate with a fury of social posts attacking the person or groups who persecuted you. Listen to today's Faith Chat to learn about the concept of being salt instead of salty.
