Chapin is the host of Misfits And Rejects. Misfits And Rejects is a podcast about the lifestyle design of expatriates, travelers, entrepreneurs, and adventures. Many of whom are living unconventional lives abroad.

Chapin relates to the stories he produces because he didn’t feel like he belonged in the States. He always felt disconnected. But one day, everything changed for him when he visited his friend in Costa Rica. He’s been on the road traveling the world ever since then––and that was over 10 years ago.

While traveling abroad and meeting many different people from various cultures and background he’s realized that some people never felt like they really fit in where they live.

But with living abroad it’s easy to create instant bonds with people because of the commonalities that you share. There area constant stimuli living in another country and challenges you face on a daily basis.

The best lesson he’s learned while traveling is it makes you present and helps to develop your character. You learn who you are.
