Today's episode is the first of four in a series on Congregationalism! To begin this series I give a brief introduction to the term "congregationalism" and then move on to present the life of John Cotton. Cotton was one of the leading defenders of congregationalism in the Puritan era and knowing a bit about his life and ministry will help us appreciate his major work on Congregational polity: "The Keys of the Kingdom of Heaven." Let me know what you think and if you have any questions I can answer for this series concluding Q&A episode!
