God himself will put his name on us. We belong to him. We no longer belong to this world. As such, we now walk in this world with privilege. We have the privilege of new birth. We now have an inheritance that will never fade or spoil with time. We are locked into eternity with God in Christ. That's privilege.
With such privilege comes a battle. We must fight the good fight of faith. It is astounding how easy it is for people to gravitate toward the slavery of a false gospel. There lies the battle. This world is primed and ready to turn God's gospel (good news) into a badspel (bad news). Paul will share his amazement of this fact in Galatians 1:6-10. We too will share in his amazement as we study his letter. We will find that, 2,000 years later, nothing has changed.
