It is an amazing fact that we can trace our ancestry all the way back to Adam. Many people do not know that their family tree actually begins at Adam. We all share in one common inherited trait. That trait is sin. And with sin came death.
The supernatural power of the gospel is that everyone is given a chance to be released from the family line of Adam. We can now be included in the family line of Christ. To be in Adam is to inherit all that is his to inherit. To be in Christ is to inherit all that is his to inherit. 1 Corinthians 15:22 says it this way, "For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive." The moment anyone says "Yes" to God's plan they receive new life in Christ as their inheritance.
