If any of us were to approach a tomb where a dead body had been laid we would naturally expect the body to be in the tomb. However, what happened to Jesus was not natural. It was supernaturally planned ahead of time by God Almighty.
It was no accident that that the Feast of Firstfruits was to be on the third day after the Passover Lamb was sacrificed. This was a promise of a future harvest. The Feast of Harvest (Ingathering) would take place seven weeks later on the fiftieth day. This was all planned and put in writing in the history of Israel and to be fulfilled in Christ. Jesus is our Passover Lamb and Jesus is our fulfilled the promise of a future harvest by rising from the dead. God is still harvesting people from this world until that Trumpet sounds. May more receive this miracle today. Amen.
