Homily given at the 11:00 a.m. Mass on Sunday, November 12, 2023, the 32nd Sunday in Ordinary Time, by Deacon Dan Foley, Christ the King Catholic Church.

Being a believer is not enough. Wisdom and vigilance are required. Jesus is the wisdom of God personified, and reveals that love of God and love of neighbor are inseparable. The vocation of the Deacon is a living icon of that reality, connecting the Eucharist to the works of love.
