Homily given at the 11:00 a.m. Mass on Sunday, January 12, 2020, the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord Jesus, by Fr. Ed Fride, Pastor, Christ the King Catholic Church.

In today's Gospel, we hear the Father call Jesus "my beloved." Elsewhere in the Gospels, Jesus tells us that the Father loves us with the same love with which the Father loves Him. You are the Beloved! What are the barriers to us receiving the Father's love?
