13 August 2017 - Rev. Aaron Eime spoke on how fear is the believer's enemy. The disciples in this passage are scared of the storm and of Jesus as he approaches walking on the water. Peter, however, calls out in faith and heeds Jesus' call onto the water. Peter was walking on water. Then he stopped. Fear gripped him. Jesus doesn't rebuke. He in effect asks, Why did you stop? Let us keep doing. Don't give up. The little we do against fear itself can do miracles. Jesus is there. He's always there.
