23 April 2017 - Rev. David Pileggi expounds the scriptures and asks “Is the daily life we live impacted by the resurrection?” The resurrection needs to be central to our lives, but how do we do that? We are invited to participate in The Life that the Father has with the Son through the power of the Holy Spirit. The reality of the resurrection can give us courage to face and overcome our fears. This relationship is not instant and it takes time to develop. It is a faithful discipline as we regularly meet with Him and allow Him to indwell us as we submit to him so that our lives look like His in the power of His resurrection. To conclude Rev. Pileggi reminds us of the central importance of Scripture. The power of scripture is released as we pray it, meditate on it, sing it, worship with it, re-live it and make it central in our lives. In every generation the scriptures will reveal Jesus.
