From his early days as an accidental actor, starting with a year-long national tour of Peasant Prince: Story of Mao's Last Dancer (Monkey Baa Theatre Co, winner of Sydney Theatre Awards Best Production for Children, 2016), Edric has been steadily honing his stage and screen craft with credits spanning across theatre, films, shorts, commercials and corporate training. He recently wrapped shooting as a principal cast for upcoming SBS miniseries New Gold Mountain (Goalpost Pictures, 2021). Edric’s background in Pilates movement training has served him well to meet the physical rigours of acting. Being a paper geek, Edric also channels his creativity as an origami artist commissioning paper models for commercial campaigns and film projects such as I Am Mother with Rose Byrne and Hillary Swank (Penguin Empire/Netflix, 2019).
