Hey all of you Crazee Fans! We are so excited to bring you the first ever Forensic Friday. But, don't let us scare you with this one! While most Forensic Fridays will detail eerie, strange, psychological crimes; crimes that hit the headlines; crimes with serial killers, maniacs, or mass murderers; this one is more of a heart-felt dedication to a convicted murderer. Why would we focus on the injustice of a convicted murderer? Because this one hit us hard. Daphne and Christy, independently of each other (and about 4 years apart from each other) had a first reaction to this person that hit us both hard. Why? This convicted murderer who has a low IQ and a complete non-existent understanding of how the world works, reminded both of us of Daphne's youngest son, Jimmy, who lost oxygen either during childbirth or his first surgery and has apraxia of the eyes, speech, and fine motor skills as a result; was born with club feet which means constant pain in his feet and ankles and 4 surgeries on each ankle by the time he was 12 years old; and who is autistic.

Please do not understand and think that our truest sympathies are not for the murder victim's family -- we are so sorry for that family and pray for their continued peace in life. But, after you hear out take on this convicted murderer; you will understand why this episode is focused on him. Why we are looking at him rather than the actual victim who suffered more than anyone in this entire story.

Daphne is writing an essay to go into more detail about the facts of the whole story and will share all she can about the victim, why she was there, what story she might have been working to get, and what she suffered. Also, how, even thought we don't agree with the manner in which the story unfolded, the police came to the conclusion that Brendan Dassey found his way behind bars. If he is guilty, then he should be in jail and for more than a possible parole release in 2048; but also, if there is any change that he is innocent, how he ended up behind bars to begin with.

Join us to hear our heartfelt  concern for how the justice system sometimes works. We support the BLUE! We would help to protect our men and women in BLUE! And we would love to hear what information that the detectives in this case had to convince them to push a 16 year old boy with a mental deficit into a confession that he denied for hours before and had denied every second since that fateful day.
