Born & raised in NY & now residing in Florida Joe emerged on the scene in 2012 launching his own record label " Electrified Mindz " releasing a bunch of his own productions as well as signing over 20 upcoming artists to his label and getting tracks signed with Subwoofer Records & Dimension Records. In Nov of 2012 Joe teamed up with Rob Bello & formed the duo Surface Freakz. From that point on til Dec of 2014 they had over 60 releases on over 20 diff labels including major labels, to name a few: Tommy Boy Records, Nervous Records, UC Music, InHouse which was a remix for Todd Terry feat. Lisa Pure " Sunshine " Hitting Top 100 Charts on Beatport, Traxsource & HTFR & getting support from artists like Marco Carola, Todd Terry, Marcos Carnival, Matt Darey, Lisa Pure & more. Their 1st real big hit " Kat Nip " released on UC Music powered by Tommy Boy Records hit #3 on Traxsource Top 100 Tech House Tracks & #11 on Traxsource Overall Top 100 Tracks. Few wks later their original track " Groove Parallel " released on Maintain Replay debuted at #6 on HTFR Top 10 Deep House Tracks & #9 on HTFR Top 10 Overall Tracks. In Sept 2014 " I Am Dreaming " released on Octane Recordings quickly soared up the Traxsource Minimal Charts hitting # 4 on the Top 10 & remaining in the Top 10 for over 8 wks. It was shortly after that release that Joe & Rob decided to peruse individual careers. Joe quickly started releasing solo eps on Maintain Replay, Subwoofer Records, Soul Shift Music, June Hill Productions & his own label Electrified Mindz. His 1st solo ep release " The Next Chapter " released on June Hill Productions got great support & the track "Going Crazy feat. Farisha " charted #76 on HTFR Top 100 Tech House Tracks. Around the same time he did a remix of " Tray Bag " by the Young Bad Twinz released on Bosom on the " Milf Dilf EP " charted on Beatport Top 100 Techno Releases at # 55. Moving forward with his career he decided to bring on NY Legend Anthony Nero as a full partner with Electrified Mindz & to launch a new sub label called Nerotica Records to release all other genres that wouldn't with the Electrified Mindz sound (House/Tech/Techno). Now running 2 labels with his partner Anthony Nero they decided to collab on a few projects & things just clicked. They quickly signed a 2 track Ep with Subwoofer Records called " Perpetual Motion " releasing summer of 2015. With bringing Anthony on as a full partner with Electrified Mindz they decided to do an Official Label Relaunch album called Nerotic Ent presents Electrified Mindz Back 2 Basics WMC 2015 Compilation containing 22 tracks from various artists that turned out great. Debuting on Beatport at #17 Top 100 House #36 Top 100 Techno & #45 Top 100 Tech House. Still hitting the studio hard Joe & Anthony has 2 big Eps releasing summer of 2015. " Circulo De La Vida " releasing on Bosom containing 3 original tracks + remixes & the other Ep on monster label Tommy Boy Records with " Get Up On Your Feet " with remixes by Nino Bellemo, Blaise Grippa & Puff Dogs with their 1st Official Music releasing this summer as well for " Get Up On Your Feet " May 29 Joe & Anthonys Ep Perpetual Motion released on Subwoofer Records Debuts at #1 on Beatport Top 100 Hardcore Techno Releases.
