Born in Trenton, NJ, DJ Skyy started DJ’ing in 1982 while in high school making and selling mix tapes. In 1986, he moved to Maine for college and continued DJ’ing at an after hour club called Oasis with a monthly residency at Pearl Lounge.



In 1992, he hung up his DJ hat and started traveling around the globe. First stop was London, where he got his first taste of true House music at clubs like the Ministry of Sound, Trade, and Art Bar.



After getting his taste of their sounds in the UK, DJ Skyy started traveling to Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Ibiza, Czech Republic, and Denmark. He picked up so many different genres of house, he was good to go and ready to hit the decks again.



In 2009, DJ Skyy started DJ’ing at another after hours venue in Springfield, MA. spinning Deep House and Tech House. When the venue was shut down, he turned to internet radio www.statichq.com where he DJ'd three hour sessions every Sunday for two and half years.



Currently signed to several projects the summer of 2014 (Iceland, Luxembourgh, Amsterdam) and also ADE (Amsterdam Dance Event, October 2014). DJ Skyy also has a new residency in Springfield, MA. each and every Friday. He likes to call his style of spinning "Basement Grooves to Epic House" and always keeps it underground.
