We cover the urgent State of emergency that has been declared in Chile. All football has been suspended.

Curfews have been in place from 8pm and thousands protest in many of Santiago's key landmarks and across the country including Concepción, Valparaíso and many others. Looting and arson has also gone out of control.

On the good news, Santiago Morning have progressed from the Copa Libertadores Femenino (Women's) group stage onto the quarter finals and face Brazil's Corinthians on Tuesday night whilst Colo-Colo have been eliminated from the tournament.
