Category design, evangelism, and community go hand in hand (in hand) when you building a movement around the problem you seek to solve, and we've talked a lot about each one, individually, on past shows.

But we've never tried to put them all together into practice in an approachable way that a beginner can execute.

That's why we're doing a live workshop with Sharon Joseph from Goodwork.xyz to come up with a plan for exactly that.

Goodwork.xyz is a community led startup that is solving a problem all too familiar for creatives- getting fairly compensated for work that they actually want to do.

Together, we discussed:

- why Goodwork.xyz believes that only a community-led can solve for a massive issue creatives have struggled with forever
- how they should approach designing a category around this issue they are so passionate about
- what they can do to immediately drive results for their clients and investors while building towards their ambitious long term goals of being the category queen of community led creative work
- and much more!

Sharon isn't just their head of community operations, she's a superstar creative exec that has led teams for some of the biggest brands in the world, the founding president of the first non-profit community that served as the foundation for everything I've put into motion as a community strategist, and one of two people that I often say I'd TOTALLY work for, if she ever started her own company!

This is an interactive ideation that will give you many takeaways on how you can incorporate category thinking and community from the ground up.
