This is the second part of a multipart series on my father's life story.

If you go to Episode 9 you'll hear the overview of my dad's life- a guy who fled the communist revolution in Cuba with nothing, and has scaled 3 $100M+ companies.  In episode 9 we started with his biggest failure, and now we're going chronologically through his life.

This is his life in Cuba as a child, and how it went from an idyllic childhood to being a political refugee in the United States in an instant.

I really tried focusing on what it felt like to have an authoritarian ruler take over your country from the perspective of a family living their lives in order to take some lessons from these periods in history of "before".

There were some very interesting parallels to today's political climate.  I'd love to hear what you thought of this conversation.
