6. Spying in High Heels

This episode we're changing things up ('cause we like to keep it spicy) and reviewing the first book in the High Heels series by Gemma Halliday: Spying in High Heels. We get to meet Maddie Springer, the shoe-obsessed main character who might be pregnant by her lawyer boyfriend. As if that's not enough to freak out over, Lawyer Boyfriend disappears and is implicated in the embezzlement of $20 MILLION. Good thing Maddie meets Detective Jack Ramirez, who is investigating Lawyer Boyfriend and has biceps the size of Nerf balls. This week Frannie drinks wine from a can while Katy drinks wine in a whisky tumbler, like the classy ladies we are.
