Midnight Mass has gotten particular attention from the church - why? It seems that the religious tropes of the series are riling up those in opposition. But what if it's more than that? Midnight Mass isn't just a depiction of the church - it's a downright brutal review of the people within the walls of the church. 

To be honest - it’s a genuinely good interpretation of the church. But how do the themes of the church in Midnight Mass and the true church of Jesus Christ in the scripture differ? Is the horrific monster behind the premise of this show really an Angel or... a Demon? Let's talk about it.
