Craig Hoffman and Joe Girard discuss the NBA players' decision to strike in protest of racial injustice in America. They react to Doc Rivers comments, discuss the core reasons why the players decided to walk out and the human factors at play in their potential return.

They also discuss the significance and contextualize what this means to be taking place during the RNC, which seems to be existing in an alternate universe.

The guys are then joined by Hub Brown, professor of journalism and associate dean at the Newhouse School at Syracuse University, to talk about how news media's coverage can live up to the current climate. They also discuss how journalism's relationship with police is changing and how journalists themselves balance their own experiences with objective truth.

Craig and Joe wrap the show on a lighter note with Feel Good, Look Good, Do Good. This week's Do Good is call your congressman! The Capitol Switchboard is 202-224-3121.
