Today, after the devastating news of 215 bodies being found at the former Kamloops Residential school site, Perry is also proud to share the story of his grandmother, a survivor of that school. In a tweet, Perry says while reflecting on the news, he’s choosing to remember the resilience and tenacity of his grandmother and her unwavering will to advocate for education.
