Mark describes designing and making jewelry as “playing with fire and smacking the shit out of metal”. Turns out it’s a little more complicated than that.

Charbroiled Chats won't change your life but it might make your day.

Good friends talking about everything in general and nothing in particular. Occasionally thoughtful, often silly and mostly inconsequential.

The cast of Charbroiled Chats includes novelists, journalists, marketers, artists, IT specialists, copywriters, editors, photographers, painters and a sewist. Which is odd because there are only three of them. It’s hard to sort out who does what but if you’re still curious, this probably won’t help:

GRACE is a foodie who hates to cook, a Japanophile who has never been to Japan, a movie and music fan who denigrates Hollywood rom-coms and jazz, and a lover of celebrity gossip who doesn’t give a rat’s ass about celebrities.

MARK FARRELL “The Jeweler” is anything but normal, though he is hopelessly average in every way that matters in school. Good thing none of that shit matters, because he’s out to change the world through his art. He talks too much and has too much information on things that most people don’t care to think or know about. To put it plainly, he is “Just a guy that never tried, I’m just a stupid fuck with brilliant luck and sometimes a bright idea.” - from “Hangman” by Motion City Soundtrack.

WALLY once landed a plane on the wrong runway of an international airport. He likes dogs, hates front-wheel-drive, wishes there was less music. He lived in Japan for nine hours.
