It's bloody. It's funny. Critics and audiences love it.  But what does it say about our heroes? Grace, Dave & Wally take a swing at it.

What's Charbroiled Chats? It's a humorous podcast with good friends talking about everything in general and nothing in particular. Like grasshopper pies and Keanu and flying upside down. If you're looking for an occasionally thoughtful, often silly and mostly inconsequential podcast, Charbroiled Chats is for you. It won't change your life but it might make your day.

The cast of Charbroiled Chats includes novelists, journalists, marketers, copywriters, editors, photographers, painters and a sewist. Which is odd because there are only three of them. It’s hard to sort out who does what but if you’re still curious, this probably won’t help:

GRACE is a foodie who hates to cook, a Japanophile who has never been to Japan, a movie and music fan who denigrates Hollywood rom-coms and jazz, and a lover of celebrity gossip who doesn’t give a rat’s ass about celebrities.

DAVE is the author of The Force and one novel, is a professional writer and painter. His only interest in Japan is haiku, Zen Buddhism, and certain vegetation ceremonies involving bok choy, but that's in the past.

WALLY is the only member of the Chats crew to have been born in the first half of the 20th century. He likes dogs, hates front-wheel-drive, knows nothing about music. He lived in Japan for nine hours.

Walk Through the Park by TrackTribe is from the YouTube Audio Library.
