Defense. I get it. Most of you high producers don’t even want to see the word, but when it comes to parenting it must be used. Why? Much like playing defense on the basketball court, parenting requires more desire than it does skill. As a parent you can eventually develop the skill, but it will never happen without the desire. While attending a presentation at my sons school this past week, I got especially triggered. There was one mom in particular who had absolutely no desire to be there for her son. Listen to find out how you can use desire to change not only your parenting but every other aspect of your life.
