To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the first episode of The Late Show broadcast Saturday July 18, 1992 on ABC TV, we decided to remaster our first episode of the Champagne Comedy Podcast, re-editing and adding audio to define it more.
Gone are our long-winded self-indulgent introductions, awkward silences, gaps and more-than-tedious tangents. In with more audio samples we should've used in the first place, tighter edits, and other crap that we read your feedback on.
This podcast is a companion to ChampagneComedy.com website which has been in operation since 1996. What started as a hobby for some, has expanded into a 'go-to' place for people who want to re-live one of the best Australian comedy series that ever graced our television screens - The Late Show.
