Aaron M. Renn is a Senior Fellow at the Manhattan Institute for Policy Research and a Contributing Editor at its quarterly magazine City Journal. He is a writer and researcher on urban policy, with a particular focus on demographics, economic development, civic branding, and infrastructure. He was previously a partner in the consulting firm Accenture. Having grown up in rural Southern Indiana, Aaron loves cities like only someone from a town of 29 people can. He and his wife Katy attend Central Presbyterian and live on the Upper West Side.
