Fans  of wrestling are more than likely familiar with the career of Ryan  Deakin after he set foot on campus in Evanston to wrestle for the  Northwestern Wildcats, but do you know the man under the wrestler? Ryan  Deakin joins the show to talk about his experience growing into the  wrestler he is today, from the wrong colored singlet in youth, to having  a perfect season yanked from him by a global pandemic. All the way to  finally fulfilling his goal of becoming a National Champion, as well as  4-time NCAA All-American, 3-time BIG10 Conference Champion, and 2-time  Colorado State Wrestling champion. Super grateful for the time Ryan gave  us and we hope the #Benchwarmers see why this guy is so successful and  likeable, we can't wait to see what's next at the International level!
