Celtics play by play voice Mike Gorman has been very vocal about the Celtics struggles this season during his weekly interviews with Toucher & Rich. Gorman opened up more this morning with the guys
Asked if Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown be the two leaders moving forward?   “I don’t think so.” said Gorman, adding that the Celtics “need someone right now who’s 28-30 (years old) whose been around the league, and I thought Kemba might be that guy, but he’s just constantly plagued by injuries”
On the lackadaisical performances over the last week:
“It’s very difficult to see where this team is coming from right now. They don’t seem to have any sense of urgency at all.”
On Jayson Tatum: “In the last 5 or 6 games it’s very evident that he’s a tired basketball player”
On the possibility of having to take part in the play-in tournament:
“They really need to avoid the play in situation.” said Gorman. “They are wildly inconsistent. They don’t want their whole season to have to come down to one game.”
